The B.A. in Art History program offers courses in a variety of subject areas including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Modern European, American and Contemporary. We also offer courses in Photo History, and special topics courses in African American Art, Tribal Art, and British Art. In addition to our class offerings at the university, we offer courses in museum studies at MOCA, the contemporary art museum in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The museum studies courses enable students to actively engage with the collection and museum professionals. Students may even choose to complete an internship with the museum following the course.
