A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or equivalent, based on a 4.0 system.
Three letters of reference.
International applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency.
All graduate degree programs require the GRE general test, with an expected score of 3.5 or better in analytical writing, and either the 80th percentile or better on the quantitative part, or a combined score of 300 or better in (verbal + quantitative).
All graduate degree programs require an appropriate bachelors or master's degree for entry. Students lacking some foundation courses appropriate to a particular degree program may be assigned some remedial coursework as a condition of admission.
Graduate degree-seeking applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a properly recognized institution. The minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) is 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Original or certified copies of all academic certificates or diplomas in original language of issue. An academic IELTS overall band score of at least 6.5. A TOEFL iBT total score of at least 79. TOEFL PBT - 550.

The Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering offers graduate programs aimed at preparing students for both professional and research careers. The department offers MS degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering that prepare students for careers in design and technical leadership. The Masters of Science in Computer Science (M.S.C.S.) degree program qualifies a student to assume a professional role in industry or government, teach in a junior or senior college, or undertake advanced training toward a doctorate in computer science. The following sections describe the general procedures to be followed in completing the M.S.C.S. degree. Note that steps are intended to be carried out in a specific order.
