CQUEnglish is an integral part of CQUniversity Australia. It comprises four English language centres, conveniently located on bustling metropolitan campuses in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, and the vibrant regional campus in Rockhampton North. CQUEnglish provides excellent English language courses at various levels in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with quality facilities. The institute also organise study tours, which are short-term programs tailored to specific needs.
CQUEnglish offers General English (GE) at various levels to suit student's needs. A placement test assesses current English language ability and places students in the level that suits them. The General English course will help students develop their everyday communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The English for Academic Purposes course will help students develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills required for university study. During the course, students will also develop their critical thinking and academic skills. The IELTS is a universally recognised English language proficiency test. CQUEnglish in Rockhampton North is an accredited IELTS test centre. IELTS Preparation classes will help students improve their English and prepare for IELTS test. Classes are organised around the contents of a typical IELTS test and give students the opportunity to practise their test skills using IELTS test style materials.

This Language Centre has been running for over 30 years, making it one of the oldest language schools in Australia. It is part of CQUniversity's Global Development Division and is an established part of Rockhampton's community.
