Biochemistry combines the study of the biology and chemistry of living organisms to allow us to understand the molecular basis of life. With applications in medicine, dentistry and agriculture, it can ultimately be applied to important global challenges facing human & animal health, food security and synthetic biology. You'll be taught by world-class researchers from our internationally-renowned MVLS research institutes. You'll study in one of the largest Schools of Life Sciences in the UK, drawing on over 100 years of teaching and research experience. Our G-Gnomes Society welcomes students from a biomolecular background, with regular guest lectures from top researchers and a different social event each month.
