国际学生入学条件

Qualification for admission into the Doctoral Program includes a baccalaureate degree with a major in Biology or a related field, a GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 semester units of coursework, and a GPA of 3.0 for upper division biological sciences courses. NOTE: The Graduate Records Examination (GRE) has been suspended for Fall 2021 applicants and is therefore, NOT required. Foreign students are also required to submit TOEFL scores. See below for detailed information.

Official transcripts (in sealed envelopes) issued within the last year, from all U.S. colleges and universities attended. Students who previously attended SDSU need only submit transcripts for coursework completed since last attendance. Hard copy SDSU transcripts are not required.

San Diego State University ( SDSU ) offers a doctoral degree program in Biology in collaboration with the University of California, San Diego UCSD Division of Biological Sciences . This joint program involves research training under the supervision of participating SDSU Faculty, whose members are drawn from the Departments of Biology, Chemistry , Computer Science , and Psychology . The faculty research interests address a wide range of biological questions and reflect the interdisciplinary nature of modern biology.
