If, however, you like the idea of helping people by using science-and want to be recognized for making a difference on a local and, possibly, global scale-consider an undergraduate degree in Environmental Health and Toxicology (ENHT) from AUM. In general, environmental scientists are problem solvers. They research environmental and health problems to determine their causes and come up with solutions. Those trained in environmental toxicology get involved when people, animals, and ecosystems are negatively affected by chemicals in the air, soil or water. These professionals study, measure and monitor the health effects associated with exposure to toxic chemicals in the natural, work, and living environments.
