The mission of the Intensive English Program (IEP) is to provide the highest quality of English-language instruction to speakers of other languages in order to meet their personal, academic, or professional goals. Intensive instructions in listening and speaking skills, vocabulary development, reading, writing, and grammar for both general and academic English is offered through a communicative, content-based approach. The IEP provides opportunities for students to experience US culture in the context of their expanding cross-cultural perspectives. The IEP is committed to academic excellence, intercultural understanding, and attention to individual student needs and interests.
