This is a general English course for students aged 16 years and over. No English language level is required.<br>This course is taught in small classes, and uses textbooks and class communication to support students as they learn English. Students are also given the opportunity to use the skills they have learned in class, with topic-based learning, weekly vocabulary and speaking assessments.<br><br>AIS is an NZQA Category 1 provider. This means English Language students studying 14 weeks or more, full-time, are entitled to work up to 20 hours per week.
