Prepare to become a critical part of a healthcare team and learn the knowledge and skills you need to provide outstanding medical care to your community. This program consists of one year of didactic coursework followed by a second year of clinical rotations designed to provide you with hands-on experience while building your confidence as a healthcare provider. Upon graduation, you’ll be ready to step into your role as a competent, compassionate and culturally aware physician assistant where you’ll collaborate with and work under the direction of a physician. Graduates can look forward to careers with an appealing mix of autonomous and patient care work involving diverse specialties and environments.<br>This is a seven-semester program consisting of 129.5 total credit hours and 12 months of clinical rotation experience. Volunteer opportunities with our Sojourner Clinic are also available.
