In the USU Nursing Program, nursing theory is correlated with knowledge from the biological, physical, and behavioral sciences, as well as experiences in the classroom. Students learn in nursing skills laboratory and clinical settings such as acute care hospitals, extended care facilities, ambulatory clinics, home care and other health related environments. The Program is applying for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) and approval by the Utah State Board of Nursing.
