课程简介
By selecting the Communication Sciences and Disorders Major you will earn a Bachelor of Science that gives you the foundation to pursue a graduate degree for a rewarding career in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. In this program, you will obtain knowledge and develop skills related to human communication and communication disorders. You will learn about the biological, physiological, linguistic, and neurological bases of communication disorders, as well as the variety of communication disorders that might be present in an individual. As a student in this program, you will have the opportunity to meet peers and learn more about the profession by joining EMU's chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA), participating in the Undergraduate Research Symposium, and competing for a prestigious Brehm Scholarship. A graduate degree is required in order to obtain licensure as a speech language pathologist, and this undergraduate program will give students the foundation they need for their graduate studies.
