The M.P.H. degree in global health prepares graduates with technical competence and cross-cultural skills to create and manage sustainable health and development programs in diverse settings and populations worldwide. Recent advances in science, technology, and communications have created a rapidly shrinking planet--a global village. The Department of Global Health prepares graduates who are technically competent and skilled in planning, implementing, and evaluating sustainable health and development programs. The program focuses on an experiential model of learning, preparing students to serve vulnerable populations in developing and developed countries.
