With our new facilities, we are well placed to offer dentistry and dental research opportunities of the highest standard.<br><br>Our Dentistry and Dental Sciences MPhil and PhD are based within the Faculty of Medical Sciences.<br>You'll spend most of your time within the School of Dental Sciences and the COHR. You'll work within research teams. These are led by experts in their field in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.<br><br>We combine world-class clinical and research facilities with an open environment. Here you'll find scholars, clinicians and researchers working side-by-side. Our focus is on multidisciplinary translational research. We focus on work that is relevant to real life.<br><br>COHR has a particular focus on understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms. The aim is to translate these into clinical settings. Evaluation of clinical, community and economic strategies to improve public health and inform a wider health agenda is a central research theme.
