Students in this doctoral program will choose from one of three interest areas: choral, orchestral or wind. Students will become fluent in conducting, demonstrate advanced levels of musicality and expression, and gain a superior understanding of the historical and analytical components of music. A degree in musical conducting will give you a strong background in many musical genres, preparing you for a variety of potential musical careers both on and off the stage.
