The University of Montana has made the decision to immediately cancel all university sponsored public events for the foreseeable future. Under the guidance of the Governor and the Commissioner of Higher Education, all MUS campuses have been directed to limit the events hosted on campus.All college performances, lectures, and large gatherings are cancelled or postponed until further notice. This applies to all events in our academic units as well as Montana Repertory Theatre performances and Montana Museum of Art and Culture and Montana Media Lab events. If an event can be transitioned to remote delivery it can continue in that format. If an event can be rescheduled we will do so, however at this time it is uncertain when campus events will resume.<br><br>Serving hundreds of music majors and minors and thousands of UM students and community musicians each year, the UM School of Music is a leader in music education, performance, and composition with national and internationally recognized faculty and award-winning students.
