国际学生入学条件

A bachelor's or first-level professional degree from a regionally accredited institution. If the degree is from a non-U.S. college or university, the institution must be recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned. The degree must at least be equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree or first-level professional degree. The Registrar will vet and make a recommendation to Dean of School of Graduate Studies for approval

IELTS - 6.5 with 5.5 minimum in all bands
TOEFL iBT - 85
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the availability of online testing, we will accept the TOEFL at-home test as proof of English proficiency.

UMKC offers a single comprehensive Master of Fine Arts degree in costume design and technology. Your creative career aspirations will be met with personalized training from a faculty of established working professionals. In choosing an M.F.A. in costume design, you'll be prepared for elite positions within the field, i.e. professional costume designer, costume shop manager and more. If you are equally confident in your graphic and technical skills, you are an ideal candidate for the M.F.A. in costume design.
