The Mason Gross School of the Arts filmmaking major offers students an innovative program with individualized training in fiction and documentary film production taught by industry professionals. The Rutgers Filmmaking program is committed to providing a rigorous technical and intellectual foundation that nurtures the visions of original filmmakers. Students are trained in all aspects of film production including directing, cinematography, screenwriting, producing, editing, post-production, and sound design.
