This degree combines the study of the politics and culture of the European Union and its member states, with study of a modern European language. You also spend a year abroad studying at one of our partner universities in Europe or on a work placement. You can choose the following languages from beginners' or more advanced levels: French, German, Portuguese, Spanish. You'll learn about the politics of the UK and the EU, research methods and political theory. In your final year, you'll complete a dissertation, research project or community-based research module.
