This course will help you gain the insights into the science of people, places and social problems. With the skills you'll develop in social research and applied social science, you'll be prepared to make valuable contributions to some of the world's biggest issues.<br><br> This course has a strong emphasis on social research design, methods, practice and application across a range of data analysis techniques and technologies.<br> You'll develop an understanding of issues in culturally diverse social environments.<br> The focus is vocational, critical and scholarly. We consulted with employers, government departments, community groups, activist organisations and trade unions to build key skills into this course.<br> You'll undertake an internship with one of our research partners, which will provide on-the-job training and the opportunity to work on a research project before you graduate.
