课程简介
Combine two dynamic areas in this dual degree with industry-focused studies in business and science. Take on the future with a deep understanding of both business management and science. You'll study a range of compulsory courses that cover the business world, from accounting, economics, law and marketing, to business information systems, strategy and more. Our flexible science program offers one of the broadest selections of science disciplines available in Australia – giving you the freedom to find or follow your scientific passion. Studying science at UQ equips you with comprehensive scientific knowledge as well the skills that will prepare you for the future of work, including critical thinking, data analysis, problem-solving, creative thinking, advanced technical capabilities and communication skills. By combining these two areas of study in a dual degree, students will be given the vocationally focused business background, along with scientific theory and practical skills in their chosen major within the Bachelor of Science.

This major provides an understanding of international business management. Courses examine globalisation factors and their concurrence with international business, international trade and investment, national culture and its influence on international business practice, the complexity of the international legal environment, production and logistics in a global context and global human resource management. In particular, graduates completing this major will be informed of the full suite of international business methods and will be able to develop informed strategic management for firms that are engaged in international business operations. The challenges encountered by Australian firms conducting business in regions such as Asia, the European Union and the Americas will be highlighted. Graduates from this major will work in a wide range of private businesses looking to expand operations overseas. Career opportunities also exist in state and federal government agencies, and industry and trade associations.
