With a BABCom conjoint you can combine your core courses in business and enterprise with a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social sciences, cultures and languages. You can develop skills that are essential for adapting and thriving in a fast-changing, globalised economy. You will be able to use your knowledge and skills in many different careers and employment settings. The BABCom usually takes four years to complete. You can choose up to two subjects as your major(s) for the BA component of your conjoint, and would normally take four or five BA courses each year. You can also choose to take up to two modules There are seven compulsory Stage I courses for the BCom component of your conjoint, after which you can focus on your chosen major(s). A BABCom conjoint study can help you to develop strong capabilities for many careers, including advanced communication skills, critical and creative thinking, the ability to research and evaluate information, the ability to analyse problems and seek solutions, adaptability, and an awareness of different perspectives. You will be well-positioned to pursue new opportunities opened up by changes and developments in society, technology and business.By studying for a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Drama, you will combine the literary study of drama with experience in aspects of performance, both individual and collective. First-year classes vary from public speaking and performance to practical study in Māori, Pacific and modern dance. Advanced Drama courses involve a full-scale, public production, providing invaluable acting training and experience of production management. As you proceed with your study at a postgraduate level, you will have opportunities in areas such as acting, writing or directing; or you might choose to focus on the historical or theoretical study of drama.
