With a BABCom conjoint you can combine your core courses in business and enterprise with a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social sciences, cultures and languages. You will be able to use your knowledge and skills in many different careers and employment settings. The BABCom usually takes four years to complete. You can choose up to two subjects as your major(s) for the BA component of your conjoint, and would normally take four or five BA courses each year. You can also choose to take up to two modules There are seven compulsory Stage I courses for the BCom component of your conjoint, after which you can focus on your chosen major(s). First-year classes vary from public speaking and performance to practical study in Māori, Pacific and modern dance. Advanced Drama courses involve a full-scale, public production, providing invaluable acting training and experience of production management. As you proceed with your study at a postgraduate level, you will have opportunities in areas such as acting, writing or directing; or you might choose to focus on the historical or theoretical study of drama.
