The B.B. in Business Analytics brings together the technical skills of data mining, forecasting, visualization, and computer programming for solving the analytical problems of the contemporary business world. Students gain experience working with industry standard software including SAS, R, and Python’s Statistical libraries. The program is designed for undergraduate students interested in working at the intersection of statistical analysis, computer programming, and business problems. Along with the core classes, students have the opportunity to pursue one of 4 emphases: Applied Statistics, Business, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management.<br><br>The B.B. in Business Analytics is one of a small handful of STEM-recognized business degrees. The STEM designation allows eligible graduates on student visas access to an Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension, up to 36 months, as compared to 12 months for non-STEM degrees.
