If you are graduating from a high school outside of the United States, your application will be reviewed on the following admission criteria Completion of high school/secondary level. A certified copy of graduation certificate or diploma will be required prior to enrollment at SDSU. Review the Requirements by Country for country specific information.
A minimum U.S. equivalent GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 (B grade or 80 percent) or higher.
English Proficiency: If you are attending or have attended a high school where English was not the primary language of instruction, you must meet university-level competence in English through one of the following:
TOEFL – Passing score is 80 iBT and 550 paper or higher.
IELTS – Passing overall score is 6.5 or higher.

Marketing Specialization in Professional Selling and Sales Management (PSSM): prepares for careers in sales (which is the most common source of employment for recent marketing graduates), market research, product specialization, physical distribution, and purchasing. As a marketing major, you'll gain a strong understanding of buyer and seller behavior within the context of the overall market environment. Added emphasis is given to the important area of global markets, with their own special challenges and opportunities. You'll learn the intricacies of how products and services are developed, priced, promoted, distributed, and sold.<br><br>The marketing major studies how products and services are developed, priced, promoted, distributed and sold. The process requires an understanding of buyer and seller behavior within the context of the overall market environment.
