Minimum 2 year Diploma or 3 year Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. C in English 12 or equivalent or successful English assessment. Students are recommended to take ENG 104 in the first semester. An applicant must have graduated from secondary school, or equivalent, or be a minimum of 18 years of age or older within the calendar year in which they are applying to study and must also meet the program admission requirements. The Office of the Registrar will provide an alternative application process for students who are both under the age of 18 and not a secondary school graduate within the calendar year in which they are applying to study. An applicant must be a Canadian citizen or provide the following documentation, as applicable, as part of their application: Proof of permission to study in Canada as an international student BC English 12 or BC English First Peoples 12 with a minimum grade of C. Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5). Students who do not have a band score of IELTS 6.0 or higher in Reading and Writing will be required to take English 104. TOEFL ibt 80 overall with no subsection less than 19. TOEFL 550.
