“大学入学”选项是为已申请或打算申请皇家山的学士学位课程之一但缺乏具体入学要求或不符合该课程竞争平均入学要求的学生而设计的。具有大学入学选择权的学生将主要在中学后课程中注册，但被允许参加高中同等课程，以便满足其预期学位课程的入学要求。进入大学入学选项并不能保证随后进入皇家山学位课程。
The University Entrance option is designed for students who have applied to, or intend to apply to, one of Mount Royal's baccalaureate degree programs but may lack specific admission requirements or do not meet the competitive admission average for the program. Students in the University Entrance option will register primarily in post-secondary courses but are permitted to enroll in high-school equivalency courses in order to meet admission requirements of their intended degree program. Admission to the University Entrance option does not guarantee subsequent admission to a Mount Royal degree program.<br>The University Entrance option provides learning opportunities for students who wish to:<br>participate in post-secondary education, and plan to pursue a university degree but may lack the specific admission requirements<br>enhance their admissibility for a Mount Royal degree program through completion of post-secondary coursework and/or high-school equivalency courses<br>take courses that are required for the completion of a Mount Royal degree while improving their admissibility for degree-level study
