If you want to become a Jewish community executive, this program will give you the skills and expertise you need: a strong foundation in both management and nonprofit practices, as well as a deep knowledge of Judaica and contemporary Jewish life. Youll take courses taught by scholars across the university, including management courses focused on nonprofit organizations and courses specific to the Jewish community.We are home to one of the oldest and largest Jewish studies programs outside of the State of Israel as well as many related centers and institutes. Our library houses one of the best collections of Hebraica and Judaica in the nation.<br><br>Careers and Alumni <br><br>As highly trained organizational leaders, Hornstein MA-MBA graduates are well prepared to work in a range of settings, including Jewish federations and Jewish community centers, advocacy organizations, camps, schools and start-ups.<br><br>Our program currently has nearly 700 alumni working in such organizations as Ma'ayan: Torah Studies from the Sources, Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund of San Francisco, Moishe House, Camp Kadimah and the Anti-Defamation League of New England.
