All MHRM applicants must submit two letters of recommendation by using the letter of recommendation form
All applicants are required to submit one current official transcript from each institution of higher education attended, including any study abroad or exchange programs, summer programs and non-degree work and extension programs. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution to the Shidler Graduate Admissions Office, or received in a sealed institutional envelope if submitted with the application materials.
To be eligible, an applicant must hold or expect to hold prior to matriculation a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, or an equivalent degree from a recognized non-U.S. institution of higher education.GPA 3.0. GPA under 3.0 will be considered if other qualifications meet requirements. The rigor of the undergraduate degree will also be taken into consideration.TOEFL minimum of 600 (paper-based test), 250 (computer-based test), 100 (internet-based test) or IELTS minimum of 7.

In today's highly competitive business environment, the roles and responsibilities of human resource professionals have become increasingly critical to corporate success. Human Resource Management (HRM) professionals must understand human resource issues and management trends in a competitive global economy as well as a broad spectrum of state and federal employment legislation.<br>The Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) program is offered in an accelerated executive format for working professionals and is specifically customized to equip human resource managers with the tools necessary to effectively meet the challenges of an ever-changing business climate. In the past, the MHRM program has been offered on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Kauai, Lanai and the Big Island.<br>This 16-month, 30-credit-hour program (ten, 3-credit-hour graduate level courses) is designed to enhance the skills of individuals in the profession as well as those interested in pursuing a career in HRM. The curriculum provides advanced education in organizational behavior and dynamics, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, career development, health and safety and labor relations. Legal and regulatory requirements in these areas create a need for a firm foundation in employment law, a need that is met through a course dedicated to the topic. Participants will also have the opportunity to choose one human resource elective as a class.<br>Prospective students are not required to submit a GMAT score or have full-time work experience to apply, however, two years of work experience is preferred. An interview is required.<br>Learning Goals for the MHRM<br>Students will demonstrate a broad understanding of human resource theories and current practices across different types of organizations.<br>Students will be able to apply knowledge of major human resource responsibilities at both a strategic and operational level.<br>Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of international human resource management issues.<br>Students will be able to integrate information technology into the operational areas of human resource management.
