A master's degree from Simon Fraser University or its equivalent from a recognized institution, OR a bachelor's degree, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5/4.33, or a grade point average of at least 3.67/4.33(A-) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered. Individual graduate programs may set a higher admission grade point average. Students admitted directly from a bachelor's degree must complete at least 50% of the course work units required for the relevant department's master's program if no course work is required as part of the doctoral degree.
IELTS (academic) - overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section, TOEFL(Internet-based) - 93 with minimum of 20 in each category, TOEFL(Paper-based) - 580 and TWE 5

Our doctoral students in this program come from a variety of academic backgrounds. They also focus on an array of mathematics education contexts including primary, secondary, or college-level teaching and learning, as well as teacher preparation.This program is designed to offer flexibility for students by holding most classes in the late afternoon/evenings. Classes tend to be held on our Burnaby campus.

关于西蒙菲莎大学
蒙弗雷泽大学（Simon Fraser University,简称SFU）是以十九世纪探索温哥华地区的探险家西蒙·弗雷泽命名，于1965年成立。是一所中等规模的文理科综合性大学，现有在校学生19000多人。 该校曾多次被加拿大的权威时事杂志Maclean评为加拿大最佳综合学府，一直在加拿大大学综合声誉排行榜上名例前十名，素有“加拿大最有价值的综合大学“的美誉。从建校开始，SFU就拥有激进的名声。在最初的几年内已就教授在校内讨论敏感话题与静坐造成了不稳定。虽然这股风气已经逐渐减退，但总括来说SFU依然被认为是强烈的左翼校园。1960年代的学生激进份子更掀起了一场“文化大革命”去提倡加拿大大学管治的民主。1967年5月，SFU成为了加拿大第一所让学生加入理事会的大学。SFU的激进思想使它创设了创新的与富弹性的课程。举例说，在1968年SFU成为全加拿大第一所为在职经理增设EMBA课程的学府；SFU在1991年也是加拿大学府中最先提供社会学硕士课程的。
