The Athletic Trainer Aide functions as an aide in a clinical setting, or in a high school, college or professional athletic training center. The Aide assists the Certified Athletic Trainer or other healthcare professionals in the prevention,care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This will include assisting in the assessment and documentation of athletic injuries, acute and chronic injury management, treatment protocols, principles of conditioning, and return to competitive activity.
