The School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation (CHPR) degree programs are designed to educate students as health professionals in community health agencies, health maintenance organizations, business and industry wellness programs, exercise and fitness industries, sport management, teaching K-12 health & physical education, and coaching in public schools as well as prepare students to enter graduate programs.There are three Master of Science program of studies in the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Sport Management that students can choose: Health Education and Promotion, Exercise Science, Sport Management.A variety of job opportunities are available for the graduates of these Master's program. These employment opportunities are in areas such as health clinics, businesses, fitness and wellness programs, educational settings and sport/athletic facilities. Students will have the opportunity to improve their intellectual and professional skills through advanced classroom instruction, participation in behavioral research, and community service learning activities.
