The bachelor of arts, a bachelor of science in economics provides students with the qualitative skills they need to critically analyze questions faced by policy makers and firms. However, unlike the BA it places a greater emphasis on developing students' quantitative skills. Students are required to take a combination of economics, econometrics and math courses as well as complete a research project to achieve the BS.
