Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, this program combines classroom and field experience to provide students with the skills necessary to become licensed social workers. Social work is a care-centered career that utilizes advanced knowledge of human behavior and social environments to support individuals within culturally diverse populations. Social work is expected to have faster than average job growth (9%) over the next decade according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Social workers can find employment in a variety of settings, including with welfare and human service agencies, in healthcare settings and in schools.
