One official transcript (in a sealed envelope) from each college/university attended with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale overall or for the last 60 attempted semester hours of credit earned for the degree.
Statement of career goals, one or two pages indicating how the Criminal Justice MS degree will enhance the applicant's career goals and expectations of the graduate program.
Resume (no longer than two pages).
Two letters of recommendation. Letters should be from professors or professional references who can attest to the applicant's ability to succeed in graduate coursework and his or her work ethic.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or its equivalent from a foreign institution and a GPA of 3.0 or more (on a 4.0 maximum) in all work attempted while registered as an undergraduate student OR 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) or better in all work attempted while registered as an upper division student working for a baccalaureate degree, OR
A graduate degree or professional degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or its equivalent from a foreign institution in a field related to the discipline of the program to which the student is applying.


A TOEFL computer-based score of 220 or 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (or equivalent score on the paper-based test) or 6.5 on the IELTS is required unless otherwise specified by the program.
