As a graduate of the Protection, Security and Investigation (Customs Border Services) program, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good eye for detail, and the ability to correctly apply various legislative instruments while targeting and investigating potential illegal activity at Canada’s Ports of Entry in Canada and outside the country. Curriculum taught by former federal government officials with extensive investigative experience. Gain practical, in-field experience via volunteer opportunities with local service agencies. Hands-on Justice Studies Simulation Lab and experiential learning. Students who successfully complete first year and the First Aid course are eligible to write the Ontario Security Guard licensing exam.
