课程简介
The mission of the Graduate Program in Homeland Security is to produce leaders from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds who can effectively and efficiently identify, design and mobilize the appropriate community resources to prevent, deter, preempt, defend against, and respond to terrorist attacks and/or other critical incidents and emergencies on the local, regional, national and international levels. As the first graduate-level Homeland Security program offered in the United States, we proudly offer a rich, interdisciplinary graduate study curriculum leading to the Master of Science degree. We are a brick-and-mortar program, as we have found that forming relationships with your current and future colleagues to be of utmost importance. We offer the Graduate Program in Homeland Security at both the SDSU-San Diego (Main Campus), and the SDSU-Imperial Valley (near El Centro, California).

The SDSU Graduate Program in Homeland Security provides a learning environment where scholarly, educational, and research endeavors are applied to real-world challenges. The SDSU HSEC MS program has proudly served in response to critical incidents and crises on the local, national, and global levels.
