The fire science technology AS degree prepares you for a career as a fire officer, fire instructor, fire investigator, fire safety inspector, hazardous materials technician, building inspector, or fire insurance salesperson.<br><br>With many online course options to accommodate busy schedules, this program combines technical study and coursework in mathematics, English, physical science and liberal arts with knowledge necessary to advance into supervisory or management positions. <br><br>Courses are offered on a one-year rotation basis, either Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., or on a shift-friendly schedule, or online.
