Learn to analyze global affairs and develop strategies to build a more peaceful, just, and ecologically sustainable global order. You'll also gain knowledge of prominent institutions (such as the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, the World Trade Organization, etc.) and critical themes (such as human rights, terrorism, North-South relations, the climate crisis) in global politics. The ISCOR program features three areas of emphasis: (1) justice in the global system, (2) cooperation, conflict, and conflict resolution, and (3) environment and security. Through your study abroad experience, you'll demonstrate a deeper and more specific understanding of historically rooted political struggles that have shaped the host country, as well as its specific cultural practices.
