The Communication program at the University of New Haven are designed to give you the specialized skills you need to creatively and successfully adapt to the continuing evolution of both interpersonal and mass communication. Our Bachelor of Arts in Communication will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how to frame and deliver the message through interpersonal communication, organizational communication, public relations, advertising, mass communication, journalism, radio, television, and film. Students earning a B.A. degree in communication with a concentration in interpersonal communication will build specialized knowledge and skills related to interpersonal communication in addition to a solid grounding in communication fundamentals. Through coursework emphasizing writing, speaking, leadership, group dynamics, and socio-cultural awareness, as well as hands-on field experience/internship opportunities, students will learn to become competent and well-rounded interpersonal communication practitioners and professionals.
