Students usually plan a career in business or industry upon graduation.The School of Communication is a community of learners who approach communication as the driving force of creating meaningful relationships, effective messages, innovation, and social change. We strive to be the ''hub of all things communication'' by providing students with theoretical and experiential learning in the areas of multimedia communication, critical and cultural communication, global citizenship, and civic engagement. Our students will receive professional networking and community service opportunities, as well as exciting, hands-on classes that can be applied in the field. Our mission is one of equity across cultures, ethical service and practical application of communication theory and praxis, and creating real-world, multi-faceted opportunities that will truly serve our students in the future.
