Philosophers ask questions to learn more about our world and their role in it. Using logic and argument to demonstrate their answers to these questions, philosophy students are strong writers and critical thinkers with strong analytic skills. South offers the first two years of general education needed for a four-year degree in Philosophy. Students can also take courses to fulfill general educational requirements, for personal enrichment, or to prepare for future study in this field.
