The Department bases its program on belief in the inherent worth and dignity of each person, the importance of developing self awareness, and continuing personal growth throughout the lifespan.<br><br>Graduates of the program help persons as individuals, couples, or as members of a family. Students in the HDC program choose from one of three concentrations: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, or Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling.
