As you pursue your B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies, you will evaluate the categories of gender and sexuality as you understand the ways in which these categories are formed, how they function in social, economic, cultural and/or political contexts, as well as how they intersect with other categories like race and ethnicity. You will have the opportunity to analyze issues related to gender, gender identity and social justice within a global context and learn to effectively communicate using gender analytics as a tool for independent research, for collaboration, and/or for affecting social change.
