Understand the different experiences of women and other marginalized groups, from the local to global, in the women's studies major. You'll learn how we're working to create a society free from oppression and privilege based on gender and gender identity, race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, age, religion, nation, or disability. You'll explore academic disciplines from intersectional feminist perspectives and promote community engagement. Grounded in feminist pedagogy, we provide opportunities for active student learning through internships, study abroad programs, undergraduate research experiences, and service learning options.
