To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission) and satisfy the below requirements:
You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno. The academic courses include: English, math, social sciences and natural sciences. A weighted GPA takes into account the extra difficulty of honors, AP or IB classes.
You must submit your final, official high school transcripts to support your application for admission.
SAT/ACT scores: We do not require SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship consideration
IELTS (must be academic version) with a score of 6.0 plus
TOEFL score 61 plus

课程简介
Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. The program offers comprehensive training in brain sciences, with Psychology courses that offer a cognitive/systems perspective, and Biology courses ranging from animal behavior to neurons and molecular mechanisms. The degree is targeted for students who plan to continue with graduate studies and is designed to provide them a rigorous foundation competitive for graduate and medical school. Dual degrees are not allowed in NSC and BIOL either concurrently or subsequently. Dual degrees are allowed with PSY, but PSY credits (with the exception of PSY 101) cannot be used for both degrees.<br>Students will be able to:<br>demonstrate mastery of core concepts and principles in Neuroscience as well as developing expertise in sub-disciplines within the field.<br>display effective written, oral, and quantitative skills. demonstrate research and applied skills.
