UCM's International Studies major is an interdisciplinary program that includes courses from various academic disciplines that help students to analyze issues from different economic, social, and political perspectives. This major allows you to pursue both thematic and geographic concentrations as you study critical issues such as climate change, refugees, food insecurity, terrorism, trade, war, human rights, economic development, and economic inequality. A degree in International Studies helps you develop knowledge and skills that will help you pursue a career in international business, non-governmental organizations, and federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department.
