The Agriscience sequence gives students an opportunity to focus on a variety of subjects. This can include horticulture, animal science, or agronomy concentrations. The academic content of this sequence includes biological science, chemistry, and agricultural science subjects. Students selecting the Agriscience sequence may elect a Horticulture, Animal Science, or Agronomy concentration. Thesis Option Students selecting this option will complete the degree core requirements of ten hours, plus six hours of Master's Thesis (AGR 499) and twenty hours of electives. Non-Thesis Option This option requires a synthesizing experience consisting of three hours of Independent Study (AGR 400) under the direction of a major adviser with the approval of an advisory committee. Students selecting this option will also complete the degree core requirements of ten hours, plus 23 semester hours of electives. Students must pass a comprehensive written/oral examination.
