The Graduate Program in Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences is centered in the Department of Animal Sciences in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences of Rutgers University. The graduate program provides research-oriented training leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the general areas of endocrine physiology and metabolism. The program's relatively small size assures that students receive individualized educational programs and ready access to all faculty members. Nonetheless, the graduate curriculum is full and comprehensive, drawn in part from the diverse and extensive course lists of the many other biological programs university-wide. Faculty members of this program are part of a large and interactive community of biological scientists at Rutgers University?New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. Faculty at other universities and scientists from pharmaceutical and agricultural corporations serve as adjunct members. Research laboratories are located in Bartlett Hall, Foran Hall, and the Endocrine Research Facility?all on the George H. Cook Campus.
