The City Experience challenges and encourages students to engage fully in learning and thinking. The location plays a key part in their education, with students developing thinking tools to understand the complexity of Melbourne as a city, and the social and emotional tools to participate constructively in their community.<br><br>Using the city as their classroom, students undertake excursions to places and spaces relevant to their studies. Year 9 students spend Monday to Wednesday and Friday at the City Campus, and Thursday at the Research campus. Remaining connected to the Research Campus is important for the students in the city and both House Music and House Athletics have enabled the students to stay in touch with their friends and teachers in other year levels across the school.
