The Plumbing Techniques program offers both the theoretical knowledge and practical training required to perform basic plumbing tasks. Through a combination of in-class and hands-on learning, you will work individually and as part of a team to develop the fundamental skills required to start a career in the plumbing trade. You will engage in a variety of plumbing projects that include designing and drawing plans, implementing and working in adherence to National plumbing codes, and following health and safety protocols and practices, all of which are requirements of the plumbing trade. This is an exciting opportunity to gain an introduction to skills-based learning and trade knowledge, which can serve as a foundation for further education through pathways into other affiliated skilled trades programs or apprenticeships or gain entry-level employment in a related field.
