Rivier’s Liberal Studies program offers you the flexibility to tailor your degree to your individual career interests. You will gain insight into a variety of topics along with significant study in a humanities discipline of your choice, from the fields of art history, history, language, literature, philosophy, or religious studies. As a Liberal Studies major, you can expect to acquire a well-developed capacity for independent thought, the ability to think, write, and speak critically, and an appreciation of the past as a backdrop for understanding contemporary life and society. For greater flexibility, Rivier offers both an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberals degree.
